4ArcsTerms of Use

The short version. Use 4Arcs for yourself, be decent to the people you meet in it, and don't try to break it. Subscriptions are billed and cancelled through Apple. 4Arcs helps you build habits, but it is not medical advice.
1. Agreement
By downloading or using 4Arcs ("the app"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. If you download 4Arcs from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If the two conflict, these Terms win, as far as the law allows.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old to create a 4Arcs account. If you are younger, you may use the app without an account, with your parent's or guardian's permission.
3. Your account
You can use 4Arcs without an account, but then your data lives only on your device's anonymous profile and can be lost if you remove the app. With an account, keep your login safe: you are responsible for what happens under it. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.
4. Your content
What you create in the app — your contract, tasks, notes, nickname and avatar — is yours. You give us the permission we need to store it and to show it to the people you choose to share it with (friends, members of a contract you share, the season's ranking), only to run the app.
Nicknames, contract names and anything else other people can see must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, misleading, impersonate someone else, or break anyone's rights. We may rename, hide or remove such content, and suspend accounts that keep doing it.
5. Shared contracts
If you share your contract with a code, its members follow your task list as you set it. You may revoke the code or remove members at any time. Members may leave at any time. Their own logs stay theirs.
6. Fair play
Don't use the app to harass anyone, don't try to manipulate streaks, points, rankings or Arcs Coins by cheating or exploiting bugs, don't access other people's data, and don't reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the app or its servers. If you find a bug that could be abused, please tell us at contact@4arcs.app.
7. Arcs Coins
Arcs Coins are earned in the app and can be spent only inside it. They have no money value, can't be exchanged for money, and can't be transferred or sold. We may adjust balances that came from a bug or from cheating.
8. Subscriptions and purchases
- 4Arcs is free to download. Some features need a paid subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you turn auto-renew off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, under Apple's rules: reportaproblem.apple.com.
9. Health
4Arcs is a tool for building habits. It is not medical, psychological or fitness advice. Before you start a task that affects your health — training, diet, fasting, sleep — check it's right for you, and talk to a professional if you're unsure.
10. The app as it is
We work hard to keep 4Arcs running and your data safe, but the app is provided "as is". We can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs, and we may change, add or remove features. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for lost data, streaks or progress. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.
11. Ending
You can stop using 4Arcs and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top, and tell you in the app if a change is important. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new Terms.
13. Law
These Terms are governed by the law of Romania. If you live in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country, and you may bring a claim in its courts.
